Help! I have a laptop that I connect to an extended screen when I am
in the office. When I open TUDUMO on the extended screen and go on
the road and forget to move it back to the main screen on my laptop
and shut it down -- it continues to think the second screen is there.
Other applications figure out the screen is no longer there and
automajically move to the main screen. How do I get TUDUMO to do
so...

Hi Hank,

Tudumo should move to a visible screen as well. Can you see the
Tudumo task tray icon? Try clicking it a couple of times and see if
that pops it up. Also check if you can see it in your windows toolbar
- if so, you should be able to maximise/minimise it there.

To help me pinpoint why it might not have, could you tell me whether
you'd suspended the computer or restarted it? And if suspended, was
Tudumo running in the background? What did you do to try make it come
forward?

Regards,
Richard

Richard,

I toggled the minimized, sized, and maximize button off of the windows
bar several times. I even tried closing it and stating it again. I
tried shutting off the pc and starting it again. The only thing that
worked was I had to find a monitor, attach it, move tudumo to laptop
screen turn it off, shut down the computer reboot with the monitor not
attached, then start tudumo, and it was where I had put it when I shut
down -- but it required me shutting down tudumo in the position I
needed it.

Hi Hank,

That's definitely weird. I'll play with a second monitor and see if I
can replicate it. Which Windows version are you using?

Richard

I am using a Thinkpad - XP sp3. I do not know whether it is relevant
-- but in settings, I have dragged the extra monitor to the left of
the laptop monitor rather than the standard left (as my monitor sits
to the left of the laptop). The only thing that I could think of is
that your program expects a range a screen coordinates, for which mine
are lower or higher because I moved the monitor so to speak.
