to Tudumo help, tips and tricks
Hi Richard,

Some time back there was discussion regarding syncing vs web-based
access to Tudumo etc.

What I decided to do in lieu of a way to directly update Tudumo while
on the road, is to use Remember The Milk as my collection point (via
texting).

Since I want everything to end up in TuDoMo though, what I'd like to
be able to do is to import these RTM tasks into TuDuMo rather than
having to hand copy them.

RTM export info is here: http://www.rememberthemilk.com/help/answers/basics/backup.rtm

Of course I may be opening up a can of worms since there are various
applications that others might want to import from, but maybe there
could be a way to make field correlations from a tab-delimited file so
that it can be easily merged with TuDuMo's XML file..

Thanks for considering it...

Sabrina

Hi Sabrina,

They export to iCal, which makes sense as a standard to import from.
I'll take a look at it.

In general I think basic input is one of the very first things you'd
want to do via the web view, so I'll make that workable early. What
device are you using? Also note that you can paste text into Tudumo
and it'll make one-action-per-line, which is fairly quick if you can
copy the text like that.

Regards,
Richard
