I'm Firat from Istanbul,Turkey and I am in Darmstadt since Oktober 1st.

 

As Görkem said most of you guys are new in Darmstadt or will arrive soon. So welcome and I hope we will meet in following days. :)

Most Germans don't even count Oettinger as a "beer" though, that tells something about it :P But it's quite popular in Karlshof, so you're all going to get used to it :)

If you want to taste some local beer you can check out Ratskeller in front of Schloss, Grohe Brauerei on the way to Nieder Ramstadter Strasse, or Braustübl by the Hauptbahnhof. You can google their names to see their websites.

Oh I'm Erdem by the way, and from Turkey :) I've already met some of you, and hopefully I'll meet all the newcomers in time.

know that Erasmus is a great opportunity to study in a foreign
university and to learn a new language... but it's also true that it

This is the web site of the firm which controls the public transportation in Darmstadt and most of Hessen. So there you can find bus lines and times for every station.
