As the group is going to be fairly small, and several players involved
in the main game will be absent, (don't know about Colin & Chelsea as
yet) I am going to suggest that we play something different as a one-
shot. I Thinking about giving Shadowrun a go. As such, I am providing
those attending (so far: Jay, Joel, Jesse & Myself) with a few genre
options.

1. Standard Shadowrun game (genre and setting from the book)
2. A Post Apocolyptic setting
3. Super futuristic Setting (beam weapons?)
4. Shadowrun w/a Star Wars skin

I will be offering pre-gens for any who want them, for whatever
setting. Just let me know what you all want & and I'll get to work on
the planning.

If Colin & Chelsea are coming, and we want to continue with the 4e
campaign, that would be cool too.

Anything Shadowrun would be awesome, but since I've wanted to play
this game for years and years, I'd like to try out a standard setting.

I'm with Joel here. They all sound awesome, but maybe we should try
vanilla before we start mixing things up.

I am interested in making my own character, are we sticking with the
rules out of the book? 400 BP and all that?

If anyone else is semi interested in looking at some sample characters
I'll email you the pages out of the pdf. I don't know if I could get
the whole character chapter emailed. . .

Also, I found this handy character builder:

Cool. Standard setting it is. 400pt buy is what I am shooting for as well. I have Jay and Joel on board with making their own characters. I need a head-count as to how many of you need pre-gens (I can get you copies of the book, if you are willing to swing by my place), so that I can get to work on them.

Where are we playing? Want me to reserve clubhouse at Arcadia Gardens
(pantano/broadway)?

Hmmm... good question. I'd say let's try and shoot for something more central to all, but Jay and I are on one side of town and others in the group are allergic to emails. So, no way of knowing if others are coming. Although, Marc had said (I believe) that if we don't hear from him - he's coming. I'm not sure where he lives though. Lol! There you go... A very long-winded way of saying... I dunno.

Ok. Time for a complete and utter change of plan. As it turns out,
Colin & Chel will be making it to the game this Sat. As such, we will
be playing D&D. O will pick up from where I left off last Sat.

Dan

P.S. I have Jay, Joel, Colin, Chel as definitely coming, and Chris and
Jesse as maybes. Could I get a further head-count for the purposes of
planning?

If we're playing the main game I'm in.

I'll check with Jess tonight. Also I'm going to do a write-up of the last two sessions and Halma's background.

If we are going to be reasonable numbers this week will Jesse's house
work? It is closer than Pantano and Broadway for me.

I'm cool wherever we decide though.

Actually, I'm going to have to say that won't this week on account of there being an Intuit post April 15th party going on there Saturday...

I have reserved the clubhouse at Arcadia Gardens, so we at least have
a definite location available to us. Whether it is ideal or not is
another thing entirely. If we come up with something better before
then, no big deal.

On Uhl and Pantano, or a different Arcadia Gardens?

Joel Rios

Yes, that's the one.

7887 E. Uhl St.
Tucson, AZ 85710

It is just south of Broadway on Pantano. Little street called Uhl.
The clubhouse itself if attached to the leasing office, so if this
ends up being where we play, just go into the office and through
another door to the clubhouse.

Guys, bad news. Arcadia clubhouse is probably not going to work. I
just found out that, due to upcoming remodeling, most of the furniture
was moved out and a table was broken. From what I can tell, there is
only one small table still left in the place.

Sorry, but we need to come up with another location, unless someone is
able to get chairs and tables over there.

Current count as far as I can tell is 6, which is about the limit of
my place. It is available if we wanna try it.

Other places we have played are Josh's house and Colin and Chelsea's
place. I don't know if we will hear from them in time to make some
concrete plans for tomorrow though...

I'm down with Jay's house. I talked to Colin via GTalk, and looks like he's down with it too.
