While Therryk won't be taking advantage of this (the armor restriction
means he would lose his precious plate armor), it seems like a really
solid system for anyone who thought multiclassing was too weak. The
feat they throw in there almost makes it seem *too* powerful, since
you could chose something awesome, like combat superiority, or the
rogue's weapon talent with it. I think compared to paragon
multiclassing it is a clear winner for some classes. For example, I
have been toying on and off with the kobold dagger thrower that is
dear to me, and this seems to call out to me to use it. Dagger
throwing rogues have to use tricks to maintain CA from afar, either
through feats or power selection. Hybrid Rogue/Ranger could use his
Rogue powers when he had CA to gain that better striker die, and use
his Ranger powers when he did not have CA on his quarry to keep at
least some extra damage up. It is a great solution, and the feat
allows you to take Rogue Weapon Talent, or the Ranger Weapon Talent if
you desire (could you go with a beastmaster? that could be fun...)
Anyhow, I liked it, and was wondering what you all thought.
