I did not really want to be involved, as evidenced by my post earlier
this week, but having two of my friends quit gaming in a week prodded
me to step up and do something. I am planning a game next week.

-Please indicate your intention to attend by Wednesday. No post means
you do not intend to attend.

-For now plan on playing at my house. If you want to offer an
alternative when you post, feel free. Until we can establish some
semblance of routine we will default to my house.

-I will plan a one shot at current party level in case we cannot get
the main campaign up and running again. I will be in contact with Dan
about continuing where he dropped off.

-If you would like to DM, please email me or post here. I will assume
for now that nobody does, and will again wait for some normalcy to be
established.

-We will be speeding things up for gameplay. This will be at the DM's
discretion. At the very least, this means you should be familiar with
your character, and with the powers available at any given moment.

-Any questions should be posted here, in the public sphere. I will
handle exceptions on a case by case basis. Please email or call me
(or the DM) if something comes up.

-I am not trying to be an ass, just fair.

If you would prefer NOT to DM, I'd be willing to put something
together. All the points you just mentioned would still apply.

Pending a conversation with Dan, I'd prefer NOT to say if I'll be
running the main game (and if so where I'll pickup), or a oneshot.

Colin will be DMing, the main campaign and we will ignore the one
session that Dan ran. Since he is out for awhile, it will be too
difficult to attempt to wrap that up, since neither Colin or I was
there for that session. Please plan on bringing your normal PC to
play.

Small change of plans, Colin is talking with Dan and will use his
discretion as to where to begin again. I am sure he will post here if
he needs to.

Halma will be there with the cavat that we should play at my place since I'm on call this week.

Chelsea and I are in.
That gives us 5

Jess
Jesse
Chelsea
Jay
Me
Aside from Jesse, who hasn't said anything one way or the other, I
know all 5 here said they wanted to play something else. So we'll be
rolling out the B team.

That means make a 6th level hero. You are from Hammerfast, you've
heard strange rumors from the town of Harkenwood and have decided to
check them out. More plot to come...

Tomorrow is the last day to throw your hat in. Might be a good idea
to post what you are bringing. I am bringing an Eladrin Feylock, more
controller than striker.

I'm still considering playing Halma vs. someone new. Do we need any roles filled?

Jess is looking to play an elven archery ranger.

By my estimation we will be short a leader and defender, though if
Jess brings that infernal warlock she can act as a damage sponge
somewhat.

I don't keep up as much on 4E these days. What's the hybrid/multiclass thing?

hybrid playtest was released last month as a preview to phb 3. you
can choose two of the phb classes and it gives you basicall 1/2 a
class for each. you are required to keep your power mix 50/50, but
you get a lot more benefits from each class. ill email you the
article if you are interested.

LOL... they're already releasing stuff for PHB3?!?!!?

Man.... this is starting to remind me of Magic the Gathering.

[This has been a visit of your local 4E Troll]

Thanks,

Josh

In other news... a general query... of anyone in the group does anyone actually have any desire to try out pathfinder
and/or a 3.5E game?

I was thinking a simple multiclass, though if Collin's game I'm all for trying out (breaking) new material.

Looks like I'll be joining the session this Sat after all. I can play Nim (my bard), unless that would be too awkward story-wise. Otherwise I'll try a dwarf shaman.

I was planning to come.. but I didn't get to the game postings quickly
enough to know what was really going on this week. FYI for all.. my
phone # is 509-671-0096... my intention is to come every week to the
game unless I notify Chelsea and Colin or post that I won't be
there... That being said.. it looks like everyone has prepared a
different charachter for today and so I'm not prepared and I didn't
notify by Wed.... so WAAA.. LOL... anyways... you guys have fun :)
