Happy Birthday Tucker!!
The students and staff will be celebrating the entire week of October 15th with planned activities for each day. On Friday, October 18th, the week long celebrating will end with a pep rally assembly from 2:00-3:00pm.
The big finale on Friday is a neighborhood block party from 6:30-9:00pm.There will be food trucks, games, music, and more!
More details to come as we mark this milestone in style- you will not want to miss this!

This week we celebrate our amazing custodians! Did you know that October 2nd is Custodian Appreciation Day? We made sure to make our staff feel extra special today with gifts and treats, but they will take a high-five or a thank you anytime.
If you see Mr. Bacon, Mr. Barboza, or Mr. Spaulding his week, make sure you let them know how grateful the Tucker community is for their work.

Tucker and Glover Elementary Schools are teaming up for a wickedly fun Monster Bash & Lantern Walk on Friday, October 25 from 5:00-6:30pm. Join us for a twilight stroll around Turner Pond. Don't forget your flashlights!

The UNITY Project is a 2024 parent collaboration across Milton's PTOs to revitalize and streamline the previous Reading About Diversity/RAD (2010) and Meet the Artist/MTA (2015) programs. It combines both curricula and expands the program to Pre-K through 5th grades with additional books and artists. The Program invites parents and guardians into the classroom to teach a quick lesson (approximately 45 minutes) with just a little bit of prep work. Please explore the UNITY Project website or more info about the provided lessons, materials, and how to volunteer.
We will be holding our first info session for the UNITY project on Monday, October 7th at 8:00pm via zoom and all are welcome to join!

We had a great time at the Glover PTO DEIB Pop-Up Picnic this past Saturday. Our community gathered to celebrate inclusion and connection. Tucker PTO showed up to support and strengthen the unity between our schools. Thank you to all that were able to join!

We are almost there! If you are interested in becoming a room parent for your child's class please sign up here. We are still looking for Room Parent volunteers for 5th grade (Crowely and Novak) and Ms. Davis' PreK AM.
Room parents work as liaisons between the PTO and the parent community in your child’s classroom helping to cultivate the sense of community that is unique to Tucker. For more details about the room parent role you can visit the Tucker PTO website here.
We will be in touch in the next few weeks with more details about room parent roles and what to expect. Thanks for considering volunteering for this job! And thank you to those that have already signed up!
