Get ready to celebrate a century of learning, laughter, and legacy- Tucker is turning 100!
We kick it off on October 15th with a fun-filled Spirit Week of themed days and school pride, topped off with an exciting pep rally where we’ll cheer loud and proud. (Check out the deets here.)
But the celebration doesn’t stop there. The big finale on Friday October 18th is a neighborhood block party from 6:30-9:00pm. There will be food trucks, games, music, and more! Let's make this milestone one for the history books!

Tucker and Glover Elementary Schools are teaming up for a wickedly fun Monster Bash & Lantern Walk on Friday, October 25 from 5:00-6:30pm.
Not only is it a ghoulish good time, this is a great way to bring the Glover and Tucker communities together. Kids from both schools mix and mingle, creating connections that reach beyond their schools.
There will be pizza, donuts, a DJ, and a twilight stroll around Turner Pond. You're not going to want to miss this!

We all know that there is no school on Monday... But do you know why?
Indigenous Peoples’ Day, this year observed on October 14th, recognizes the strength and resilience of Indigenous communities. It’s also a time to celebrate the cultures, traditions and contributions of Native people in the U.S. today. Indigenous Peoples’ Day is often celebrated alongside Columbus Day or in place of Columbus Day.
If you'd like to learn more with your Tucker Tiger, the Smithsonian's website for the Musuem for the American Indian has wonderful online exhibits and resources. We hope you will take the day to learn, honor, and celebrate.
