The Readathon is Underway!
It’s never too late to start tracking your reading minutes and making donations. Keep up the great work and help support our school while having fun reading!
Need a refresher?
The PTO's goal is to read 400,000 minutes and raise $40,000 from March 17-31! Fundraising is separate from minutes read, so no pressure to match donations with reading time!
This is one of the PTO's biggest fundraising initiatives, so we’d greatly appreciate your support in helping us reach our goals! We have raised 12% towards our goal, let's keep going!

🎉 Exciting News for Tucker! 🎉
Tucker has been awarded several grants to bring a community-based public mural project to life! This includes a special artist residency with Boston muralist Lee Beard and the creation of a stunning large-scale mural on the back of our school building!
The project kicks off in March 2025, and it's all about empowering our student artists! The goal is to design and install a mural that celebrates our diverse and vibrant school community. This initiative will bring together students, educators, families, and neighbors to imagine an abundant future through art. It’s also about making our school’s outdoor space even more beautiful and creating a welcoming spot for everyone to enjoy!
Lee Beard will work closely with Jessica Gillooly, our amazing art teacher, to guide all Tucker students during a weeklong residency. Then, 5th graders from the Art Enrichment Club (ACE) will help conceptualize and install the mural.
Stay tuned for the grand unveiling in June 2025, just in time for our Spring Fair and the final celebration of Tucker’s 100th anniversary! Let’s celebrate the beauty of our community together!

This week take-home projects went home with students! They’ve been asked to reflect on a "Wonder Woman" in their lives – someone who makes them feel proud and inspired.
Let’s support them by helping get those projects back by March 21st so we can showcase their Wonder Women at this month's Community Circles! These circles will shine a spotlight on the amazing women in our community.
