'Tis the Season of Giving

Milton High School’s chapter of the National Honor Society is running a hygiene product drive in conjunction with Hope & Comfort, an organization dedicated to ending hygiene insecurity in Massachusetts.

Hygiene products are not covered by SNAP or WIC, and with their high costs, they are often sacrificed in place of other necessities. Instead of having to choose between rent and food and hygiene, our drive aims to help relieve the pressure of paying for hygiene products.

We are collecting items such as body wash, deodorant, shampoo, and toothpaste. Please make sure all donations are new and sealed. Please drop donations off at Tucker from Monday, Oct. 21 to Friday, Nov. 1. Our mission is to help families facing hygiene insecurity in the metro Boston area gain access to basic hygiene products. Let’s fight hygiene insecurity together!!

Join the Milton Collective Voices for a community gathering on Sunday, November 3rd from 1:00-3:00pm at the Glover playgroud.

There will be hot chocolate and s'more making to celebrate the new chill in the air! Bring your own makings to share with this lovely ever growing community.

The Milton Collective Voices' mission is to cultivate a genuine sense of community by creating opportunities for connection, dialogue, and collaboration through regular meetups and events, where we can connect, share, and collaborate to uplift our public schools and each others.

We’re excited to announce the 15th Annual Fruit Center Marketplace Fundraising Program for local schools!

Each school has its own shopping vouchers and QR codes. You can use your vouchers for unlimited shopping trips during fundraising week. The program runs from Monday, November 4th through Sunday, November 10th.

After the week ends, the Fruit Center will calculate 20% of the total purchases made using vouchers from each school and donate that amount back to the school! Let's help Tucker get donations!

Get ready for the UNITY project's official launch at Tucker this November! Watch for details in the coming weeks from your class room parent regarding dates.

The UNITY Project is a 2024 parent collaboration across Milton's PTOs to revitalize and streamline the previous Reading About Diversity/RAD (2010) and Meet the Artist/MTA (2015) programs. It combines both curricula and expands the program to Pre-K through 5th grades with additional books and artists. The Program invites parents and guardians into the classroom to teach a quick lesson (approximately 45 minutes) with just a little bit of prep work.

We will be holding info sessions regarding the UNITY project on the first Monday of each month at 8PM. Please join us to ask questions and share ideas. Our next meeting will be November 4th at 8pm!
