February is Black History Month
February marks Black History Month, a time to celebrate the achievements, contributions, and stories of Black individuals throughout history. At Tucker, we are dedicated to recognizing the profound impact that Black leaders, artists, activists, educators, and everyday heroes have had on our world.
We encourage everyone in our community to reflect, learn, and celebrate during Black History Month. Letās come together to honor the diversity that makes our community strong and vibrant!
The Boston Public Library has created a list of books for all ages published in the previous year concerning the Black experience. You can also find a list of locals events throughout the month.

The 5th Grade French classes are launching a Cereal Drive to support The Milton Food Pantry. This initiative was inspired by Coluche, a French comedian they have talked about in class, who was known for his efforts to fight poverty.
'It is not really my fault if some people are hungry,
but it would be my fault if I did nothing about it.āĀ - ColucheĀ
Our 5th graders would appreciate your help in making this project a success. TheyĀ will only be collecting cereal and are hoping to reach (and go beyond) their goal of 100 boxes before February break.
