February is Black History Month

February marks Black History Month, a time to celebrate the achievements, contributions, and stories of Black individuals throughout history. At Tucker, we are dedicated to recognizing the profound impact that Black leaders, artists, activists, educators, and everyday heroes have had on our world.

We encourage everyone in our community to reflect, learn, and celebrate during Black History Month. Let’s come together to honor the diversity that makes our community strong and vibrant!

The Boston Public Library has created a list of books for all ages published in the previous year concerning the Black experience. You can also find a list of locals events throughout the month.

Don't forget to come celebrate Milton's very first Lunar New Year Celebration this Saturday, February 8th from 5-7pm at Pierce Middle School.

Milton AAPI Neighbors invite you to our Lunar New Year Celebration! Bring your family and friends for an evening of live performances, arts & crafts, and delicious snacks.

There are still a number of other local events to help ring in the new year! Come join in on the celebration!

There is still time to order a little something sweet for your sweetie. Surprise your Valentine and support the Tucker 5th Grade Class by purchasing a festive cookie decorating kit!

šŸŖ Each kit includes:

ā¤ļø 6 heart-shaped vanilla sugar cookies

ā¤ļø Red, pink, and white icing mix + sprinkles

ā³ Order deadline: February 10th!

šŸ“… Pickup: February 14th

šŸ“ Sent home with Tucker students or pick up at the Tucker playground (3:15-4:00 PM).

All proceeds support Tucker 5th Grade activities & events. Order now before it’s too late!

The 5th Grade French classes are launching a Cereal Drive to support The Milton Food Pantry. This initiative was inspired by Coluche, a French comedian they have talked about in class, who was known for his efforts to fight poverty.

'It is not really my fault if some people are hungry,

but it would be my fault if I did nothing about it.’ - ColucheĀ

Our 5th graders would appreciate your help in making this project a success. TheyĀ will only be collecting cereal and are hoping to reach (and go beyond) their goal of 100 boxes before February break.

Tucker Movie Day Fundraiser

Come watch Dog Man the movie!
