It isn't too late to sign up for the Milton Glows Gold Jumping Jack Challenge! We are doing Jumping Jacks all month in support of Milton Glows Gold to show our support for families impacted by childhood cancer. On Thursday morning (9/19), all teachers will meet students at 8:35 at the back entrance. At 8:50, we will collectively do jumping jacks before going inside to start the day (regardless of signing up). Students are welcome to wear gold and/or red. There will be a table set up at the back entrance of the school where students can drop of coins to support the initiative. We will have a PTO table at the Open House on Tuesday, September 24th. Please stop by if you have any questions for us! We look forward to seeing everyone! Anyone interested in volunteering can fill out this form. The first general PTO meeting will be in October with more details to follow. Room Parent Sign Ups! If you are interested in becoming a room parent for your child’s class please sign up here. Room parents work as liaisons between the PTO and the parent community in your child’s classroom helping to cultivate the sense of community that is unique to Tucker. Tasks include communicating with the teacher about the classroom needs, helping to facilitate family volunteer opportunities throughout the school year including art and reading programs, and sharing information with the class about PTO events and activities. For more details about the room parent role you can visit the Tucker PTO website here.
