3 more questions about making calls with Tubaloo. First question. If I
call Europe with Wi-Fi or 3g activated, will my provider have any
history of the call? Meaning, will I get billed for an overseas call
using the Wi-Fi or 3G network? 2nd question, I understand that Tubaloo
is currently a free service. Will you ever charge Tubaloo users? 3rd
question. When calling, let say England, do I just need the country
code (44) plus the person's number?

crimedog06,

Regarding your first question: If you call Europe and you have WiFi or
3G connectivity and you've selected use WiFi or 3G in Tubaloo
preferences application then the call is going to be routed entirely
using Tubaloo network, so your mobile provider won't have records of
that call and you won't be billed.

2nd question: We give a USD$1 to our customers to try the service.
Right now we are working hard on our web application so you will be
able to charge your account using your credit card. The web
application will be available early next week.

3rd question: To use Tubaloo you have to input the phone number using
e.164 standard: country code + area code + phone number. For example
if you want to call London, then you have to dial:

44 20 <destination phone number>

Also on Tubaloo application you can define rules to explicitly use or
not Tubaloo for calling a destination. The rules are defined in form
of prefixes, for example, if you want to always use Tubaloo to call
England, then you need to enter a new rule with only the prefix 44 and
select Always Tubaloo. If you have some cheap destination (like a US
landline) you can enter a new rule with the prefix of the US landlines
and select Never Tubaloo, that way, all the calls you place to US
landlines (or the prefix you choose) will use your mobile operator
voice plan.

If you have some friends using Tubaloo you can call them directly to
their Tubaloo Number shown under User Credentials. Those calls are
completely on-net so they are free. We won't charge you for that call
not now, nor in the future.

If you have any more question, feel free to post them here.
