Thanks,
Just made my first call on my G1 with the sim card out and the Wi-Fi
on. The sound quality was great. I have two questions about call
preferences though. First, if I select 3G Network, does the 3G network
act as the internet source for VOIP? Second, what exactly is Callback
to GSM?

crimedog06,

Sorry for the delay. For answering your first question: There are two
thing involved, one is the available networks, and second, which of
them you want to use for VoIP. WiFi will always have priority over 3G,
so if you have WiFi connectivity, and both WiFi and 3G selected, your
call will be placed using your WiFi network. If you have selected both
WiFi and 3G but you only have 3G connectivity then Tubaloo will use 3G
instead.

Second question: Callback to GSM is a technology we use when you have
no 3G or WiFi - but you still have a slow Internet connection, like
EDGE - and want to use Tubaloo services. For making this work you need
to enter your phone number under My Network on Tubaloo App. (included
country code and area code). In this scenario when you want to make a
call using Tubaloo, we'll use your 2G network (EDGE) to inform Tubaloo
to call both you and your destination number, then we connect both
calls. You will be credited for both calls, but it is still cheaper
than your mobile operator voice plan.

I hope this helps, if you need more information, please reply.
Thanks for trying our application.

3 more questions about making calls with Tubaloo. First question. If I
call Europe with Wi-Fi or 3g activated, will my provider have any
history of the call? Meaning, will I get billed for an overseas call
using the Wi-Fi or 3G network? 2nd question, I understand that Tubaloo
is currently a free service. Will you ever charge Tubaloo users? 3rd
question. When calling, let say England, do I just need the country
code (44) plus the person's number?
