problem creatiung account

my email is dectected on the phone.but when i try to log in using this
email and password i ge the message
:CHECK YOUR CREDENTIALS. HAVE YOU/ ACTIVATED YOUR ACCOUNT.
I CANNOT go further than getting this message/ Pl advise and help
