Unlikeother transformation devices, the A.I.M.S. Shotriser does not incorporate Rider Models in its transformation process. The exceptions to this are the Assault Wolf and Rampage Gatling Progrisekeys, both of which were created using the data of several standard Progrisekeys and later the Japanese Wolf Zetsumerisekey with powers and abilities from all forms of Vulcan and Naki. The MetsubouJinrai Forceriser and ZAIA Thousandriver summon completely silver versions of the Rider Models.
The Shining Assault Hopper Rider Model manifests as a robot grasshopper that mechanically converts into a set of armor for Zero-One while remaining as one piece, rather than separating into several parts that are converted into DNA strands before being reconstructed on his under suit like a standard Rider Model. The MetalCluster Hopper Rider Model is constructed from hundreds of small mechanical grasshoppers named Cluster Cells (クラスターセル, Kurasutā Seru), which separate and form armor around Zero-One's under suit. Cluster Cells are also used by the Progrise Hopper Blade to form constructs for enhancing its attacks.
When Satellite There was destroyed by Ikazuchi and Subaru, Aruto lost the ability to use any forms that required Rider models summoned by There. This was resolved by using either the Hiden Zero-Two Driver or the reconstructed Zero-One Driver, which do not require There for transformation.
Speaking of stirrups, there should be a stirrup category or feat in addition to the saddlery feat. If we are actually saying the saddle is important, we must also put likewise emphasis on the foot pedals, especially when mounted combat is often reliant on them.
And finally, although I do not come from Plains Peoples who made the Equine Rebirth into a hybrid martial art, I have had much occasion to ride bare-back with no reins. In my opinion, it would be supremely easy to ride like this, just gripping with your legs, and wield a light bow, a mace or a war cudgel.
I believe what they meant was try swinging one of those large 2H weapons while still balancing with just your legs. Big difference in riding with a torch out, and swinging with purpose with just legs to balance.
They did say at a later time they would expand it if it seemed people were actually using horses in combat. This is the framework part of it, and wanted a solid base before throwing the kitchen sink at it. Possibly, they could update it later where if you use dual weapons, you lost the sprint function of the horse. IE, no hands mean slower speed while on horseback.
There are lot of things they wanted to do with this per the stream but due to budgets and deadlines, they chose to release what they consider a framework to build off of if necessary. which means 2h combat, different mounts, and the like could come to fruition if mounts become the calling card of combat. Smart, as what we are getting is already a step up in my opinion in combat mechanics, and will have a learning curve to it. Maybe down the road we will get all weapons and the like. who knows.
In the US, our mounted Divisions drill with a combat pack on the rider, and no bayonet. Using an M16 or M14 as a mounted club gives a new meaning to stone-age warfare. One of the strikes they are taught is achieving a canter and holding the rifle above the sights (backward) and using the butt of the rifle as a lance. Quite a bad blow on the melon, plus trample damage is inevitable.
When it comes to methods of death and destruction humanity has a perverse genius for finding ways of dealing out mayhem whether on foot or on horse. You should never doubt that most weapons have at one time or another been used from horseback.

This siphoning of sponsorship persists, often at the expense of more-skilled riders. Generally speaking, the women that really are good at riding are less likely to project an image of themselves as objects of desire. Instead they present an image of womanhood that transcends their visual charms and the clichs of femininity.
Curiously auto racing has been dealing with this for a while, especially inthe disciplines where women athletes compete on parity with their malecounterparts, and in the case of some more equipment dominated tiers of thesport it's not uncommon to see a 'good' woman driver end up posting betterresults than far more skilled but less photogenic counterparts (for a casestudy, just see how immensely skilled a driver Sarah Fisher is, and realizethat Danica Patrick is the name everybody knows, and it has more to do withher willingness to show up for a cover shoot as comfortably as a centerfold).
Since being able to 'go professional' in most of the extreme sport categoriesisn't actually directly related to success in feeder series, this is a veryreal instance where aspiring athletes who don't have the resources or geneticsto create funds are effectively losing the opportunity to become professionalathletes because the sponsorship money and hardware needed to actually takethat shot at the big time are being diverted to high profile athletes that arefunctionally lifestyle models by occupation.
Athletes already competing at the top level aren't the ones who are gettingpushed out by this trend - it's the really talented semi-pro athletesscratching by to make it to support series events that are seeing the fundingdry up, because that's the sort of money companies are looking to spend on therest of the 'family of supported athletes' after their title athletes, and theunfortunate result, as seen in the top levels of motorsport, is that once thefinancial support from sponsors for the support series and ladder up to theprofessional level starts to wither, only athletes from well-to-do families,or well-connected within the industry are ever presented with the opportunityto participate at the elite level from a resources standpoint, whichabsolutely is the wrong direction for a sport built around grassroots supportand weekend warriors as the financial base.
I'd be curious to know how all these social likes (in the case of the models)and good if not great results (for the athletes) translate to sales. I'mbetting that neither has any impact on the purchases of male riders. I'm notsure which impacts the decisions of female consumers more, but maybe that'swhat companies should base their decisions on, regarding whom to sponsor.
Interesting article. Marketing is very rarely directed at a general audience. So, if a company decides it's marketing approach is to use athlete-model/brandambassadors who get attention by being really really really ridiculously goodlooking, they are seeking a market that places appearance ahead of substance.Individuals who make up such markets are generally not very thoughtful, andtend to make decisions based on 'emotions' rather than a rationalunderstanding of the product they purchase. There are obviously numerouscompanies that use this approach, and choosing this approach contributes totheir branding. Although consumers aren't always conscious of it, theyobviously do get to decide which companies they support. Therefore, if thesort of marketing described in this article is increasing in prevalence, it'sreally an indictment of the market as much as the companies that make thesedecisions. I'll go my own way thanks.
The mtb industry does a pretty good job of selecting who-to-sponsor/brandambassadors from my perspective as a consumer. And, I don't think the articlehere was suggesting otherwise. Ignoring the impact of talent and results in myanalysis here, I think for every one dimensional head-on-a-stick athlete/modelthere are at least 2 who represent numerous key attributes of good people inan obvious way. Of course not every sponsored person does, but sportsmanshipseems very prevalent in the DH scene, as is a free-spirited fun loving nature, and good humour. At least as it's presented in the media. This is a big partof why I follow the world cups. So my point is that things accessory to talentand results have factored in to who is supported for some time, and that thesethings aren't limited to those that stimulate our base desires. I think onereason for this is because there isn't much money to be made in mtb- I don'tthink there are too many people doing it for anything other than the love ofriding and/or competition.
