Dear All,

Yesterday, accidentally I stumbled upon this event. I was surprised and shocked that Cricket and our team has been presented there. It was first time I came to contact of such an information that there will be anything about cricket in this event. This event has been about South Asian community but unfortunately, there was not much representation from Pakistani community. And sadly, even about cricket, it has been represented by 4 guys ( Nayan, Chitiz, Ragu, unknown to me), out of them 2 are not part of cricket team (though I am not sure about Ragu) and others are comparatively less active players of the team.

It would have been better if could have been represented by our captains or more active players. In addition to it, it gave false impression that, cricket is only being played by indians in Kaiserslautern.

Well!! Things happen, but this info must had been distributed prior at the Cricket group, which was not the case. In my opinion, it will be better if we consult other players before doing any action by oneself. As cricket is a team game and in team, opinion of every member is important as other one.

Best Regards,
Abbas

Dear Abbas bhai,

This event was known to Girish, Bilal and also Asif bhai I think for the last 2 or more months. If they did not convey about it to other players than I who had taken over from Girish bhai due to his unavailability had no responsibility to ask others at the last moment.

Best Regards,
Chhitiz

Dear Abass bhai,

It was not about the cricket team, it was about cricket. We were trying to introduce cricket to people of Kaiserslautern. So it did not matter if the people who were presenting were the members of the team or not. The main idea was to tell them about cricket and not the team.

This event was announced to four people when they met Prof. Neunzert for the Flex pitch sponsorship even before the league for this year started. I was informed last friday that I will have to give the presentation as Girish was not available and non of the others are responding to requests made by Brijesh Bist. I assumed no one is interested.

Furthermore, it was Girish's responsibility to tell the team about any such event when he was originally supposed to give the presentation.

I am sorry if you think I did something wrong, but it was not my intention. I just wanted to introduce Cricket and tell them our teams achievements.

Best Regards,
Chhitiz

It matters!! people should be given the credit what they deserve for. As our team has been part the slides besides ISGS, other sponsors, etc.

You are right!!

I think, you are misinterpreting my intentions. All in all what I think, everybody must be informed and this thing could be done as a team as we are.

Dear Chitiz and others members of the team!

It is not about cricket, it is about cricket team and best interests of cricket as a game in this area.

We should propagate cricket in this area, but, we should also give credit to those people who are investing their precious time, energies and personal resources for this cause.

If there was some event like this, it should be well-described with team members. Like so many other supporters (members) of KUCC team, I regret to say that I was totally unaware of the agenda, event, presentations etc.

If any event like this happens in future and concerned people are not properly informed, in that case, I fear that future of this team (involving different nations from South Asia) does not look bright at the University of Kaiserslautern. Besides, you know that it is not legally allowed to present pictures of people without proper consent at event like that with prior permission/consent of the people. On the other side, you people were using hard work of people belonging to nation A for the image enhancement of nation B.

Same thing applies to other management positions of the team and cricket club. Everything should be properly discussed and managed. No kitchen cabinet please………..

Regards

Asghar

Dear Abbas and Asghar,

I put an end to this discussion now before it turns into bullying of some of our team mates who rather deserve appreciation for their efforts.

The event was known to lot of members, specially the following i m sure of:

1. Myself
2. Haroon
3. Bilal
4. Kashif.
5. Himel (most probably nuyan and others)
6. Girish.

The organizer(Brijesh I guess) has tried hard to get hold of one of us to prepare the presentation because this has been communicated to our sponsors who were supposed to attend the event. I was contacted few days before my travel to china and couldn't  help much so I asked Haroon to take care of that. Himel was also furiously tried to be contacted in this regard by the organizer, I have learned. Unfortunately, none of us took the initiative and I was pretty sure that this will bring disrepute to our club itself. I didn't announce the event as I was quite sure it will be a mess when none of us has duly contributed. I wasn't present at the event, but I appreciate Chitiz and others who have taken the initiative to present our club on the forum.

Thanks Chitiz, Raghu and others for the presentation.

There are so many things to be taken care of with regards to club activities that it is not possible to discuss all of them on email group. Even the small matters like who will take along the kit becomes an issue sometimes for some of us :).

We are a team and I am proud of having so many devoted and considerate team mates who stand united on and off the field. We are KUCC and this group is for Kaiserslautern Cricket Club, I would suggest all the members to leave their nationalist views at home when discussing something on this forum. This club is not for South Asians only nor representative of one or the other country.

The pictures taken of the team on any event are copyrights implicitly by KUCC and not by any individual. So this settles your objection.

I suggest no further discussion on this matter before it turns out to be a divider among us. I wont allow that to happen.

Once again Thanks Chitiz for presentation and taking out time to properly present us in front of our sponsors.

Cheers,
Asif

Now, I am totally perplexed with your message and way of writing. Tell me the purpose of this email group & reasons for the use of KUCC brand name for the purpose of image enhancement of only one particular nation?

hi,
Just want to clear one point as Manager said Brijesh called me many times to make a presentation
and i sent him a message saying that i will contact him later and i totally forgot
to contact Brijesh.
so it is my mistake that i did not contact brijesh, that's why no KUCC (Pakistani member) was part of
presentation. I apologize all KUCC (Pakistani members).
