to Transition Stroud - Energy Group
Hi all,

We've struggled to get a date that lots of people can make. I'm keen
to feed back ideas about the EDAP (energy descent action plan) from
the Council. Therefore I would like to suggest we conference call the
meeting.

I've looked into Skype - the maximum number of users is 5 on a
conference and there is a delay as well, so I don't think this will
work well. Can I suggest Conference Genie - it's not free, but it's
1.7p per minute in the evenings from a BT Line (0844 number) so not
too bad. I've set up a conference number for us.

My suggested meetings are as follows (all 7.30-9.30pm):
Friday 5th March
Monday 8th March
Friday 12th March
Wednesday 17th March
Friday 19th March
Monday 22nd March

Are any of these any good to anyone?

Thanks,
Julia

We are on the Phone Coop so don't have a B.T line, will that work?

Yes, it will work.  The charge of 1.7p per minute might not be the same, though - every provider has their own charge rates.  They should provide you with a tarriff, and one of the listings will be 0844.  That will show you the charge they make for these calls.

All the best,
Julia

This is what our neighbours, the Marches Energy Agency are up to. Could we get something like this going in Stroud/ Glos area?

The finances work really well for 100kW PV at the moment, and it would be lovely to get community benefit, rather than the same old financiers getting all the grant money!

Hi Greg

Cut and paste the link into a browser it then. If you hold the mouse over the link it has a long name from the Dulas site.

It worked for me

Paul
