You’re invited to the Welcome to Applewood community event!

The Cashes Green CLT would like to invite all of you to an exciting community event.

Where?

Meet at the ‘Applewood’ site entrance

(previously Cashes Green Hospital) on Cashes Green Road

When?

Sunday 3 March 2013, 10.30am-12.30pm*

* This will be followed by the Cashes Green CLT Members meeting at 12:30 at the Cashes Green Community Centre with a bring and share lunch.

The day will include:

§ Tree planting with Kevin McCloud! If you would like to help plant the whips* (in pots), you must gather at the marquee – near the main entrance on Cashes Green Road – at 10.30am sharp to be escorted onto the site. Bring your trowel and sturdy footwear!

§ Refreshments of hot drinks and homemade cakes

§ Electric bike demo – cycle on sustainable transport! (Please bring photo ID to take part.)

§ Co Wheels car club – find out more

This event has been supported by our partners Markey Construction and Hab Oakus.

The trees we’ll be planting are a Queen’s Jubilee Year gift from the Woodlands Trust to the Cashes Green CLT.

We hope to see you there, spread the word!
