Subject: Final call: participants for British Council
sponsored course on Sustainable Development
To:
Dear prospective applicant
The ASHA Centre is seeking participants for its course on
Education for Sustainable Development that will take place
between 5 - 9 March 2013 in the Forest of Dean.
Part of the British
Councils Training and Cooperation Plan, the ASHA Centre
has been granted funds to host a series of one-off
seminars on Education for Sustainable Development. With
its solar and voltaic panels, biomass burners,
innovative Bio-Bubble Waste Processing system and five
acres of organic gardens, the Centre is a brilliant
example of living sustainability in action. The unique
nature of this course means that it will through the
implementation of phase II (recently approved for June
October) create a network of 200+ youth workers, youth
leaders and volunteers, active in promoting Sustainable
Development in the UK. The week-long course will
encompass field trips, discussions with experts, and
practical workshops such as Biodynamic gardening.
Participants will be reimbursed 100% travel costs. Food
and accommodation is free. There are no course fees.
Further information can be found on our webpage:
