Hello fellow Mills Alumni!

I'm excited to be launching this ongoing PD opportunity for white teachers...Accomplice Academy for White Teachers!

My friend and former colleague Mira Stern and I are faciliating this cohort to build up the stamina, consciousness, and community of white teachers divesting from whiteness and white supremacy in the classroom.  We see this being for both new teachers who want to orient their politics and pedagogy, and veteran teachers who know their analysis and work can dig a bit deeper. 

We are offering the 8 month course on a sliding scale of $600-$1,000. 20% of proceeds will be going to the Black Teacher Project. We encourage teachers to seek professional development funding from their schools and districts. Everyone is encouraged to apply, even if they cannot pay themselves or get access to PD funds.
