My name is Michelle Gonzalez de Jesus (Mills c/o 2010) and currently serve as Assistant Principal at Frick United Academy of Language. Frick United Academy of Language is a newly merged Dual Language Middle School located in the heart of East Oakland. As a public middle school, we are committed to reflecting and embracing the full range of diversity and multilingualism Oakland provides. We serve a diverse student population,  reflective of our surrounding community, and are seeking educators committed to serving these specific populations to ensure all students:

As a newly merged school, Frick United Academy of Language is looking for educators who are interested in collaborating with peers and support staff to develop and implement Mastery-Based Curriculum. See our candidate profile for more information. 

FRICK OFFERS:

FUAL offers two instructional coaches that are school-centered and located, one humanities coach and one math and sciences coach. Coaches provide weekly coaching sessions and regular class observations to support teacher growth.  Additionally, FUAL is lucky to have a robust administrative team and support staff including two Assistant Principals (one instructional and a culture AP), two Community School Managers, and many community partners.  Finally, we live our value of bilingualism with our very own Spanish department at Frick United Academy of Language.
