We will sail this Wednesday (the summer evening "Heat Stroke Series"). We had 3 Lasers and 3 Sunfish out last Wednesday with awesome wind. Actually, too much wind for the last race. All Lasers went over a few times.

For those of you who know you are signed up, ignore this. I have put all the Club's Laser, Sunfish, C14.2, Buccs, and MC Scow, Martin 16 owners on this e-mail. So, if you are not on the list, sign up using the link.
If you are not familiar with the venue, look on the AYC web-site for an article published last week about the Heat Stroke Series. We do one minute starts, a short course, everyone starts together, we don't keep score. This is not an AYC event. You sail at your on desecration and risk.

BTW, last Wednesday parking was insane around the TTL dry storage. There’s a new Phoenix running club started meeting at TTL Wednesday evenings. Arrive early if you can else you may plan to park further away. Like near 100 mile.

Hello All!
Joel and I will be out on Emory's buccaneer, we are arriving late and on a new boat, so start without us. If we can find our sea legs we'd love to join a race but we'll have to see. The wind forecast looks good! See you out there.

Our Wednesday sailing is coming up again. We had 3 Lasers out and one very competitive Sunfish racing with us. Another Sunfish and a Bucc showed up but never raced.The wind was 6 to 8 and gusts to 13 except the later part of the day I am sure it was 10 to 15. Afterrward some of us went to 100 Mile Brewery and had dinner and a drink.

We had a great sailing day last Wednesday. This coming Wednesday, Gordon and Mike Hester will not be out. therefore, I would like to know who will be sailing this coming Wednesday (or, at least, plan to race). I don't want to set marks if know one is out there to race.

I’ll plan to be there Wed, ASAP after work. Right now the forecast looks a reasonable 5kts W and 99F. Fingers crossed.
Last week, running club seemed to arrive later around 6p, so parking wasn’t an issue.

So, it seems we will have 5 Lasers or so and a Sunfish. Don't know the at the wind will be a great as the first 3 Wednesday events though.
