Subject: Your input required: IUCN European Work Programme 2017-2020
To:

Dear IUCN members,

We are contacting you today to give you the opportunity to provide input on IUCN’s main objectives in the European region for the next four years.

The IUCN European Regional Office is currently working on its draft work programme for 2017-2020, which will be discussed a the Regional Conservation Forum in Helsinki from 14-16 December. The IUCN European programme provides the framework for planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating the conservation work undertaken by the Commissions and the Secretariat with and on behalf of IUCN Members.

Please see attached for a background document, outlining some key priority areas that have been identified for IUCN’s work in Europe.

It is of critical importance to involve IUCN’s members in this drafting process, both at the RCF and before, and we would thus be grateful if you could participate in our survey to provide input and ensure that IUCN’s programme reflects and builds on your own organisation’s priorities and activities in the spirit of ‘One Programme’. Your inputs to these questions are very important for the further development of the IUCN European Programme 2017-2020.

Please answer the 10 questions outlined in the survey by following this link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/MMTZVL5. You are also invited to provide feedback on the attached background document directly to Chantal van Ham (chantal...@iucn.org), should you wish to do so.

The deadline for participation is the 25 November 2015.

Thank you very much for your support!
