it seems that your paraview build (v 5.6.1) is failing due to a python configuration error (maybe you have multiple python versions installed).
you want to make sure you're building paraview with python 3 support enabled (you can check that in paraview's cmake configuration).

also, in case you are not familiar with building code yourself, you can try out our preliminary packaging for ubuntu 20.04.
for this, download the following packages:
https://github.com/topology-tool-kit/ttk-paraview/releases/download/v5.8.1/ttk-paraview-ubuntu-20.04.deb
https://github.com/topology-tool-kit/ttk/releases/download/dev09252020/ttk-ubuntu-20.04.deb

assuming these have been downloaded to the `~/Downloads/` directory, you can then type the following commands in a terminal:
```
sudo apt-get install ~/Downloads/ttk-paraview-ubuntu-20.04.deb
sudo apt-get install ~/Downloads/ttk-ubuntu-20.04.deb
```

then logout and log back in (to update environment variables) and at this point, you should be all set :)
