Have you got any local (ie. HW) installers who would put in loft insulation? Longburrow Hall have had two people round from national insulation firms - one sensible quote and one who clearly didn't know what was going on - so they would like another for comparison. Surely there is someone in HW providing this service? Unfortunately the local people who did my cavities (and also did lofts) have gone out of business. Any thoughts would be very helpful.

We had our loft insulation improved from 2 inches to 10 inches four years ago.  It was free (done at your expense – thank you) because of our great age.

 

It was done by “eaga”.  I have no complaints about the quality of the work, and the installers were friendly and clean.  I have no idea of the cost.

I looked into this. Eaga were purchased by Carillion Energy Services two years ago. It looks like Carillion has now laid-off a lot of the staff.
