Dear All,
I have been sent a few items to share with you from other champions, please see below.
I have an additional 5 spaces for a 10.00 tour of the Anaerobic Digester at Wallingford and 2 spaces for the 11:00 tour, both on 13th March (Thursday this week!). Please email or phone (07734541034) if you are able to join us and I can give all the details. I look forward to meeting those going and confirmed already on Thursday!
There are still a few spaces for the Carbon Conversations course starting on April 28th. I will facilitate the inaugural course alongside two Community Energy Champions, Cathy Davidoff and Bob Sherrin.
The course will be held in:
Shortenills Centre
Nightingales Lane
Chalfont St Giles HP8 4SG
There will be six 2 hour evening sessions held on the following dates. You would need to be able to attend all the sessions. We would make a charge of £15 for the course, to cover the cost of the venue, refreshments and resources.
April 28
May 12
June 02
June 16
June 30
July 21st
If you would like to know more about the course, please have a look at this link: http://www.carbonconversations.org/resources/its-good-talk-carbon-conversations
There is an ongoing potential following the course for attendees to take the Facilitation Training and to run further courses in their own community. I would encourage and support any volunteers wishing to do this.
Please let me know if you are interested in signing up. There will be a maximum of 12 spaces for the course, so it will be first come, first served basis.
