Subject: Low carbon Jordans - film evening

Hi,

On Thursday 12 June Low Carbon Jordans is hosting a film evening. We will be showing "Chasing Ice", a film which shows how climate change is having a dramatic effect on our ice caps and glaciers.  The producer, James Balog, uses revolutionary time-lapse cameras to capture a multi-year record of the world’s changing glaciers. His hauntingly beautiful videos compress years into seconds and capture ancient mountains of ice in motion as they disappear at a breathtaking rate. The Times called the film "starkly beautiful, alarming and important".

The film evening will start at 8 pm in Jordans Village Hall (postcode HP9 2SY), and admission is free. Everyone is welcome, and we will be providing refreshments. There will be an opportunity for donations to cover the costs of the evening.

I hope that you will be able to come, and look forward to seeing you there.

Best wishes,

Bob Hall
