Decoration/display ideas:
-In the front room (all the way to the left wall and the right) have
an information/display area including a photography gallery show with
a trail use theme. Everyone would be invited to submit photos. Photos
can be for sale to benefit the TT. (I've seen this happen at the
Grange.. it was good.)

-Wallace & Hinz has agreed to loan and deliver one of their fancy bars
to use angled in the corner in front of where concessions usually are.

-Borrow live trees and plants to put in corners-- wrap with white
lights? I can probably get someone to deliver and return them for us.

-In a few key places have smaller interesting-shaped branches spray
painted red and put little stuffed birds on them. If I can figure out
how to post photos I'll include one.

-There's also those bush/trees with little red berries we could here
and there.

-I have yards and yards of nice fabric that can be used around the
room too, if we wanted, with more white lights (the Grange has some
too).

-And there's always the rafters to hang things.
Anything else?

(Most of) The Redwood Camera Club has decided to not show their photos
at the Trail Mix after all. If we still want to use that area for
other photos, art or information I do still have the panels and nice
lights for them. I'll put out a request to my friends. I had not asked
anyone else to participate 'cause I thought The RCC wanted the focus.
Is it worth asking random friends, photographers and art groups if
they want to show a piece or two? Is this important to us? It's
possible that it could become an even better show than RCC's, but we
don't have much time left.

We have so much going on already I think we should let a photo show of
any kind be something we do next year.

So I am willing to make the decision to let it go.

w h o o s h... the sound of letting it go. It's gone. Better to
do nothing than do a crappy job at something.
