anyone up for tabling this weekend?

Hi all,

The Race to the Ridge organizers just contacted me and said that they'd love to have us table at their weekend events at Redwood Park in Arcata. Before I respond, I wanted to check with the team and see if anyone is interested. Options for tabling both days, part or all of the time... or could focus on one day... families + food will be around on Saturday. Could toss together some of those holiday gift baskets (t-shirt + membership in a little basket with a gift card).

I think tabling Sat. is a good idea.  I'm willing to put in an hour at the table, but have plans so can't do much more.

I'd also be able to table for an hour or two on Saturday (Jenny, let me know your preferred time).
Gretchen, do you still have the baskets left from last year?
Who has the tabling materials? Do we have or borrow a table, can't remember?
I can borrow NRS' pop-up for weather management. Also a table if needed.

Giants shut'em out 9-0... what a lovable team!!! I think it's safe to confess now that I also kinda like the Rangers...

Ok- I've been trying to figure out for awhile now if I can help, but I have prior commitments that just won't budge. I do have some dollar store baskets that I could easily prepare some gift baskets in. I could print any graphics needed tomorrow for the gift card and/or membership card... however you want it. It's last minute, but I could do it. I could also table a bit on Sunday if it's worth it.

Just let me know!

Hi gang,

Thanks for the responses! I think I understood that Jenny's the only other person who was available to table. I just realized that I double booked myself... I had previously planned to attend RNP's trail opening (LBJ Grove to Davison Ranch/Elk Prairie) at 11am to try to get more of their staff on board with our CA Coastal Trail route that connects up with their new trail, and that is at 11am in Orick.

Steve Lovett will be sitting in a Ridge Trail (covered) booth tomorrow and offered to be able to have us and our brochures sit with him, or just have brochures there. Jenny, it sounded like morning worked for you best, and for me, I might be back by about 2pm, so it might mean tabling at different times, if we want to pull gift baskets together.

Last year we had gift cards with the baskets... I don't know if there were cards left (they're probably with Gretchen's stockpile)... Gretchen, if you think that you have enough stuff to re-do 10-15 gift baskets... not sure we'd need more... then Nancy, we might not need your help. We would just need the t-shirts, brochures, our smaller sign (Mike has the giant new one, seems too big), and the tabloid-size regional trail map (is that with the tabling materials?).

Also, I'm not sure who this events list manager is, but I have a few requests:
- could you change the name to TTHB Events & Outreach or something similar?
- could you include Natalie and Jacob in the list, cc'd?
- are there other folks who signed up at the Trail Mix to help volunteer at events who could be invited to join this list?
