Introduction to Permaculture Weekend stand alone 7/8/9 Sept
or first of four long weekends forming the Full Permaculture Design Course still places, Rippledown Deal.

This Introduction Course is an exciting, involving and thought provoking way to get a good understanding of the world of permaculture. A three day residential course in the Kent countryside, near Dover. The course will provide a general overview of:
• Permaculture ethics an principles
• Patterns in nature and sustainable systems
• Permaculture design tools and strategies
• Sustainable building and renewable energy
• Sustainable food and agriculture systems
• Sustainability and health
• Design exercise and group work
• Sustainable communities
• Strategies for transition to sustainability

Day one and two covers the theory in various outdoor locations around Rippledown where we look at permaculture ethics and core principles, observation and surveying.

Day three is a practical design exercise in how to apply permaculture on an individual and community level.

On completion you will have sufficient knowledge to be able to go off and start to practice it in your own life and begin to create plentiful yields of food, beauty, renewable resources and wildlife, sustainable communities and a more sustainable planet for all.
