I tried to fit a smack booster in the one and one half liter jar, but
it would not fit. So I did the next best thing- I reduced the number
of plates from 16 to 12 and it fit. I used a solution of 3/4 tsp. of
lye and the needed water to properly cover the plates to withen 1 1/2
inch of the jar top. When I gave it the juice it worked much better
than I had expected. It produced bubbles the size of bb's. In the
bubbler I counted 160 bubbles per minute using a 3/8 in. hose. The
best I could tell it draws around 10 amps, so I will build another one
to daisy chain with it to reduce the amps and try it out on my van.I
have to insure that it is sealed well as I will have it withen the
vehicle which I know is not a good idea but I have no other choice. I
feel confident that this method will work well.
