One time I got 9 mpg more than average and the next time I may have no
improvement or 4 or 5 mpg improvement.

The last problem I had was too high water level in the bubbler. I
know I am pulling too many amps over 20. The jars get hot to the
touch. The first time I tried the 6 pack I boiled the electrolyte I
rewired after that and got amps down to a little of 20 amps. I am
using 1 teaspoon of lye to 1 gallon of distilled water I have a water
distiller so I know the water is distilled.

I have had the 6 pack on my car for about a month it works if I go on
a road trip of 100 miles or more. On my 16 mile daily round trip
commute it works little to none.

Do I need an air bleed on one or all of jar tops? I have none now.

Any suggestion would be welcome.

I would post a picture of my rig if I knew how.

I think that you may have a leak somewhere. You need to fill your
tank to the top so you can see gas in your pipe every time and at the
same pump if possible. I had this unit wired in series parallel. If
you are going in just before your butterfly you don't need a bleeder.
You may need to increase your lye for just going to work and back.
The solution works better at about 85 to 90 degrees. Have you seen
the new dry cell that i have posted? You don't have to worry about
heat so much. Keep thinking GREEN!

Thanks;

I changed the electrolyte yesterday. I see bubbles in the cells but
no bubbles in the bubbler. This happen the last time I changed the
electrolyte then I poured some water out of the bubbler and it started
bubbling. That did not work this time. I will check for leaks.

Did you see the video file of my rig I up loaded to the website?

Is it 316L stainless steel that works best? If so where can I get it
around Huntingdon? I googeled it and found some 12" x 12" sheets but
would like to buy it local if possible.

Has anyone ever run two 6 packs on two different circuits or is this
too much draw on the battery and charging system?

Yes I saw the dry cell picture but can't tell how it is put together
from the picture.

Yes my hose is 1 - 2 inches from the butterfly.

My unit is in the trunk I may try a fan to cool it.

I went the HOD class I think it was in Oct. or Nov. you where at BMW
or in Washington one or the other. I have a diploma from the TTC in
1979 it says I am a auto mechanic The Chief and Jerry taught me all I
know about cars.

Two six packs would be too much draw on the batteries. If the unit is
getting to hot you may need to put less lye in your solution. I used
stainless steel wall plates from Lowe's. Keep thinking GREEN!

I just found one jar top loose, it is tight now.

I now have a seven pack. The six pack has one tsp lye per gallon for
road trips. The single cell with two tsp lye per gallon for short
trips. I am using wing nuts on connecting for easy disconnect of as
many cells as needed when amps go up. I am making a lot of bubbles in
the bubbler now!
