!channel Our last competition of the season is this weekend. Please
make sure you read through this entire message and give it a like.
First we will go over the schedule. On Friday everyone will meet at
make it labs for 4:30 to load the trailer. Once we are done loading
everyone will head to WPI. Alyssa will be the mentor to report to on
Friday. I will be the mentor to report to for the rest of the weekend.
When you arrive and leave please come let me know. Saturday morning
drive team and pit crew are expected to arrive at WPI at 7:30 and
everyone else 8:00. Sunday everyone is expected to arrive at 8:00. Any
day you sign up for you are required to stay the entire day. If you
did not answer the poll Alyssa posted on general please send her a
message letting her know your availability. Even if you cannot attend
let her know. Now to go over some house rules
• If you are not pit crew or drive team you are not allowed to hang
out in the pit. It gets really crowded and busy. You are also not
allowed to speak to judges or other teams that are pit scouting. Our
pit crew/drive team are trained to answer questions
• If you have questions/concerns about a match please go ask Alyssa.
Please do not question drive team about decisions made
• When entering the pits safety glasses are required. Also no drinks
or food allowed in the pit area. Water and closed drinks are allowed
to be kept in the pit but not drank unless you are out of the pit
• Make sure to wear your team shirt, bring safety glasses, and bring
money for food
• Be kind and be mindful of your words. This is towards everyone that
you interact with
Below I have the Battle cry website that has all the information. I
would briefly take a look at some of the rule changes for the event.
Dining hall is open Saturday from 11-2 and Sunday is 12-3. Let me know
