!channel In preparation for my departure from the team, I'd like to
ask for parents who would be willing to help with some event planning.
We have two scheduled competitions coming up that require some
organizing. I would love to work with a parent, or a few parents to go
through the process of competition event planning so that they may be
able to help with this next year. These are pretty condensed events
that aren't difficult to plan. They include
1. organizing mentor/parent attendance to make sure we have enough
supervision at events and for packing/transportation of the pit
2. supervising at competitions for student organization and scouting
organization.
3. event check-in and management of student/mentor contact binder.
This is likely a 2-4 hours of prep virtually and then attendance at
the competition itself. This would be perfect for two people who are
willing to share the responsibility.
