!channel Hi team. We have been asked to attend Chop Shops, 2nd annual
Cars Robots, and Coffee event. This is a car show and robotics
demonstration. Last year they had about 500 attendees from surrounding
areas. We will have a table setup and will be able to showcase our
robot. It is scheduled for August 24th from 8 am - 12 pm at Merrimack
High School. Please answer the poll below to sign up for a shift. Let

prep for upcoming outreach events. It will be virtual! Info below

August 21st : Students attending the *Cars, Robots, and Coffee* event
in Merrimack are required to join the upcoming online preparation
meeting, but all should make every effort to attend. During this
session, participants will learn how to effectively engage with the
public at outreach events, as well as have the opportunity to earn
volunteer hours.

are available to students who have participated in FIRST robotics
programs. Many of them require a mentor (head coach) to write a letter
of recommendation. Most scholarships are for Seniors and Juniors. If
you'd like to request one, please *respond to this message by Sept.
2nd* so that we can schedule a time to meet and make that happen.

We will not be writing letters during build season. Now is the time to
request one if you think that you many want one for scholarships for
this upcoming season.

school year. For the students who signed up for ANY position on drive
team, we will be having a written drive team test on this past seasons
game. It will include field, scoring, and some basic rules of the
game. Make sure to brush up on the game manual as you are not allowed
to use it for the test. You will take the test either September 22 or
25th depending on what meeting you are able to attend. Please let me
