to tsWebEditor
Hi,
I have just started using tsWebEditor and it looks very good. However,
- there is always an "however" - I want to use Tidy to format (indent)
my XHTML pages. I have been using Tidy for some time and it works well
but it is inconvenient having to run it outside an editor - Tidy runs
in a command window. I have copied my tidy.conf file to C:\Program
Files\tswebeditor\default\tidy.conf, as you suggest in your Doc pages.
But when I use the Tools>Tidy menu command in tsWebEditor it checks my
source file and reports any errors but it does not carry out any
reformatting (indenting). Here is a copy of my tidy.conf file:
indent: yes
indent-spaces: 2
wrap: 72
markup: yes
output-xml: no
input-xml: no
show-warnings: yes
numeric-entities: yes
quote-marks: yes
quote-nbsp: yes
quote-ampersand: no
break-before-br: no
uppercase-tags: no
uppercase-attributes: no
char-encoding: latin1
new-inline-tags: cfif, cfelse, math, mroot,
mrow, mi, mn, mo, msqrt, mfrac, msubsup, munderover,
munder, mover, mmultiscripts, msup, msub, mtext,
mprescripts, mtable, mtr, mtd, mth
new-blocklevel-tags: cfoutput, cfquery
new-empty-tags: cfelse
write-back: yes
I've added the last statement "write-back: yes" - which is not
recommended - but that doesn't help either.
What am I doing wrong? Any help would be gratefully appreciated.
