Hello. My name is Arthur Spencer, Jr. I am the Program Manager for the Department of Defense-Aerospace Education, Research and Innovation Center (DOD-AERIC) at Tuskegee University. We are contacting you to inform about a new interdisciplinary master’s program in aerospace and mechanical engineering at Tuskegee University.
Attached is a flyer that describes this interdisciplinary research program. Please distribute this flyer to those students you think may be interested in obtaining a master’s degree in this program. Currently applications must be through our Mechanical Engineering department. Financial support is available for eligible students.
The DOD-AERIC program at Tuskegee University is designed to provide a unique, exciting and engaging environment for training/education of future aerospace and other engineers, particularly from the underrepresented populations of the United States. Central to the DOD-AERIC program is partnerships among the aerospace industries, DOD, and other National Labs, as well as academic engineering programs. Our website (DOD-AERIC | Tuskegee University) can provide additional information about the program.
Please feel free to contact Dr. Heshmat Aglan and me with any additional questions.
Thanks,
Arthur Spencer, Jr.
