Language Exchange - Cheung Chau Bun Festival

Hey everyone, it's been a while since we had our last meeting.  Since tomorrow is a holiday and the climax of the Cheung Chau Bun Festival (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cheung_Chau_Bun_Festival#Activities), thought it might be a good chance for who have time to go check it out and get in some language practice at the same time.  Let me know if you can make it and I'll arrange a meet up time.  Happy to hear suggestions from anyone who's been before on best time of the day to go, etc...have a feeling early evening might be better when temperature are cooler and in case anyone wants to stay for the midnight bun tower climbing.

Looks like evening might work better (esp since the bun tower race doesn't start until 11:30 at night) so we're going to try to catch the 5pm ferry to Cheung Chau from Pier 5 in Central (near IFC mall).  Give me a call if you can't find us (6500-7366) and if you haven't yet def let me know if you're coming so we will know who to wait for.  There's a ferry every 30 min so no biggie if we miss the 5pm one.

There are parades earlier in the day on Cheung Chau so if anyone wants to head over earlier let us know your contact info and we can try to meet up on the island.

Hi Christine welcome to the group. We will be meeting at the entrance to the Cheung Chau ferry (Pier 5 opposite IFC mall) at 5pm. I'm hearing there is a line for the ferry now so we might have to wait for the next one at 5:30. Prepare for crowds as this is the last day of the festival and also a public holiday. Call me at 6500-7366 if you can't find us. I'm the guy in a collared white shirt w blue and orange stripes and a blue backpack.  See everyone soon!

Err... friend just turned up in shenzhen figuring she'd stay. If she makes in here in time I'll get a ferry around 7.30 and bring her along (will call and see if i can find you guys if we make it over if that's ok).
