When cloning my BASE CLONE (via new project / import), the clone appears
to work, I can import my mesh and export a sims3pack. But after closing
Workshop, the file can no longer be reopened. All the textures are
missing and Workshop crashes. Interestingly, if I put the Sims3packs in
the game, the textures based on the custom pattern are missing (the mesh
appears white in the game) unless I put my BASE CLONE file in the game
too. When I put the base clone in the game too, all the meshes appear to
be fine (it's as if all the clones are linking to the base clone for their
pattern reference). This has been a problem since public release 2.10 and
is still prevalent in 2.22.
As a result, I now cannot open a signigicant number of my work files and
the latest set I'm working on I've had to start over for the fifth time.
Base clone and clone of this are attached.
