Conference on a cruise ship

Howdy all. We're continuing the basic research to confirm that a
condo cruise ship is possible, including engineering, legal, and
oceanographic research at TSI. So far, it looks promising - expect to
hear more next year sometime.

Anyway, I wanted to let y'all know that we'll be partnering w/ Reason
to do our (and their) first-ever conference on a cruise ship! Here's

At the 2009 Seasteading Conference, many of you expressed interest in
joining us aboard a cruise ship for our next gathering.

Thus we are pleased to announce that Reason Magazine and The
Seasteading Institute are teaming up to bring you a seven-day
Carribbean Cruise featuring thought-provoking speakers, influential
journalists, and an all-star cast of thinkers and freedom fighters
from around the world.

As a guest on the Solstice, Celebrity Cruises' beautiful luxury liner,
you'll be able to take part in a special Seasteading Seminar geared
towards exploring the political and economic concepts of seasteading,
where you'll hear directly from TSI Executive Director Patri Friedman
as well as TSI Director of Operations, James Hogan.

In addition, we'll be encouraging all cruise participants to
contribute to the discussion of seasteading, via open workshops,
freeform presentations, and special focus groups inviting YOU to
present your ideas to a forum of open-minded, reason-oriented fellow
attendees.
