ISSUEUsers encounter an error message stating, 'Unknown file format. You may update your Network Recording Player and try again.' This issue arises when attempting to play back Webex meeting recordings, particularly after the Webex Meetings 40.10 update, which defaults all new recordings to the MP4 format.

RESOLUTION

Users

To resolve the issue, users can take the following steps:

I can open the .arf files on Mac but can't do any conversion (the option isn't available). On Network Recording Player on PC, which should be able to open and convert, I get the error: "Unknown file format. You may update your Network Recording Player and try again."

I received a new .arf created with WBS29 and the the latest NBR (2.31) on webex.com won't play it. Perhaps providing a download selection so we can work around the format incompatibilities would be a good thing.

Went back and forth with webex support until I just didn't have time anymore...they kept telling me to uninstall and re-install the NRP and saying that the .arf file was created with a newer version than I had. I'd done that a dozen times already and was frankly tired of saying that over and over...short answer, no

If you have a webex account, go to Support Center -> Support -> Downloads -> Recording and Playback and install the one you find there. The one I just installed is from 2014 (version 29.10.1.10115) and works for the latest recordings I have.

Thank you, Cliff, for that solution. Here is some more information from WebEx Support. It appears that some users are going to support.webex.com>click support>click support utilities>downloading the legacy NBR converter. This is an older player that would not be compatible with ARF's that are generated on newer site versions.

The best method for users to resolve this issue is to download the NBR player that is associated with the host's WebEx site. If further assistance is needed, please contact WebEx support for individualized help.

I have the latest Network Recording Player version 30.4.1.10006 E (specific for .arf file type) from the WebEx site and it continues to give me the following: Unknown file format. etc. I am using a Mac and have reinstalled this several times. If this is the latest player and is backwards compatible how come this does not work? I believe that the recording was made with the WebEx NBR2 player. Thanks for any help. This is very frustrating indeed. Wasting a lot of time on this.

I am sorry you are having such a hard time with your Network Recording Player. At this point, I recommend you open a case with WebEx support so they can work with you on your set up and individual requirements.

O.M.G. Thank you so much for this!! I have wasted approximately a day and a half trying to figure out what's the problem and why did this work before, but not now!! I am just trying to meet my CEU's and this has been INSANELY horrible to not be able open files pertaining to collecting specific medical data! Thank you. You are a lifesaver.

I have tried 96x96 in jpg (1x1,1x1,1x1 or (4:4:4) and saved with quality 100 using Gimp) and result is not has expected. Someone has a precise information about the optimal resolution (pixel to pixel) when using folder.jpg or embedded?

Wow. SanDisk keeps making the Clip better and better and you complain about the resolution on a screen that measures less than one inch across? For those of us who had to edit our own tags just to make the m200 series run properly, this is pretty comical. But I guess I can understand.

I have sometimes problems with the album art. When I move some songs from PC to Zip via USB and after I remove the USB cable a lot of album arts are not shown. I turn off the Zip and after a few seconds I turn on the Zip and I can see the album arts again.

No, Classic does get new cards, and I Imagine the same kind of decks that dominated in 2014, still perform best now: Combo Druid, Miracle Rogue, Zoolock, Handlock, Aggro Paladin, Face Hunter, Freeze Mage, and some midrange decks.

I invested a lot of dust in wild, which is imo the most entertaining mode between classic/standard/wild, but due to poor design choices it became too unbalanced against yhe type of deck I like to play.

3). Pack values were horrible, since they lacked duplicate protection and included cosmetics. Mercenaries packs provided the worst pack opening value and experience that I have ever encountered in a game.

In summary, rushing a mode that was too rawly designed (and with very greedy marketing strategies) to market without being able implement improvements quickly has doomed Mercenaries into being a niche mode that feels more dead than alive.

Thanks for the interesting input and discussion here in this post! I appreciate it. My mom Zelled me $100 so I bought standard packs and the tavern pass. I will try to stick to the Standard format until, and if, I feel otherwise compelled to stop (only time will tell).

However, I like a mix of the other modes too; I will mix in BGs, Mercs, occasional Tavern Brawls, and Solo Adventures to build my Wild collection (so that someday I might have enough variety to theory craft decks with the hopes of discovering something cool and powerful).

I prefer Standard, which is easier to start being competitive on as a new player given that it is easier to get the needed cards for a competitive deck. Wild can be fun to do some crazy things but I would focus on standard first.

The QuickTime File Format (QTFF) is an Apple-designed video format that stores audio and video content for playback. Its video files use the file extension .MOV. QuickTime File Format formed the basis for the MPEG-4 format, and is technically very similar to it. However, MPEG-4 is much more widely supported by platforms and devices.

QuickTime provides various high-level media creation and editing functions. It allows creators to manipulate files without having to understand the file format itself. This functionality helps insulate developers from low-level operation details.

Given the above list, it is clear that the QuickTime Player only supports a limited set of file formats. Users wanting to view video or audio files in other popular formats like WMV, FLV, AVI, MKV, and Blu-ray must convert them to a supported format. QuickTime users may want to install a media converter to view unsupported files.

The relationship between QuickTime file extensions and MP4 lies within their respective video container formats. Both QuickTime and MP4 can utilize the same MPEG-4 formats, which makes them mostly interchangeable. However, this compatibility is mostly observable in a QuickTime-only environment.

An atom consists of a header and a data component. The header includes the type and size information, while the data component stores the actual data. Here are the details of each atom field and type:

1. Convert MOV to MP4s or WebM through dynamic URLs.

2. Resize, crop, and transform the videos generated in step 1.

3. Optimize the transformed videos through a fast content delivery network (CDN).

I have a WD TV Life Streaming Media Player and I try to play MKV file it plays some not others. The firmware is 2.03.20. I read some of the old notes but some of the software it recommends is no longer available. Any update information on how to play MKV files I would appreciate it. I tried to reboot and I unplugged it and replugged and no solution.

Yes as made comment by Joey a lot of newer MKV files use the H265 codec and so wont play no matter what you do but many MKV files dont use it and play fine on my unit using 2.01.86 firmware which was rolled back to from a later firmware which caused problems playing MKV and suffered from memory bleed problems. I imagine if you download from various places on say forums you can also find mp4 or avi formats for same content

To my knowledge there is no

latest" firmware as they long ago stopped support of this fine machine. 2.02.32 was last issue of firmware but caused memory leakage problems for me (and supposedly others) making system erratic so I rolled it back to 2.01.86 which is what I continue to use to this day.

There was a posting in the threads with links to download either

if you need the files to be "secured" from gamers changing their scores/progress/... (not sure where the files are stored? or whether this matters?) you could pass the XML through an encryption algorithm or encrypt the data elements before putting them into the XML

If as you say, the information will be saved on the server it should definitely be in a database. The typical game protocol is store the user information in a database - pull it into memory when they login, with lazy updates to the db for changes to the object in memory (keeps game performance high) as they play the game and update their "in memory" user game state object.

Since its your game, you could define a file format yourself. For saving game's state directly serializing and storing will do. As for the players saved data (which could be his level progress, game score etc) you could use XML.

.dat files are used by servers to store the state of individual players. The format is also used within level.dat files to store the state of the singleplayer player, which overrides any .dat files with the same name as the singleplayer player. These files are in NBT format.

Items are used both in the player's inventory and Ender inventory, and in chest tile entities, dropped item entities, furnace tile entities, brewing stand tile entities, and Villager trading recipes. Sometimes a Slot tag is used to specify the slot the item is in, such as with chests; other times there is no Slot tag, such as with dropped items.
