Mr. Jagadeesan along with Mr. Alexander & Mr. Jyoti all from
Puducherry, won The Kingfisher car rally 2008. They won the rally
with
a total of 11 penalties. They were closely followed by The Chennai
Team of Mrs. Amuda Sukumar along with Kritika Sukumar who finished
second with 12 penalty points. The Family of Mrs. & Mr. Partha Ghosh
with 2 kids from Puducherry came in third with 14 penalty points.
Mr. Jagadeesan & Team won Return Airfare tickets for Chennai-Mumbai-
Chennai from Kingfisher.
The rally covered a total distance of 48.5 K.M. in 117 Minutes and
the
competitors answered 14 questions en-route. The rally was highly
appriciated by all the participants and in perticular by the Chief
Guest(Mr. Srikanth) SSP, Puduchery North. Mr. Srikant has expressed
his desire to conduct a similar rally for 2 wheelers in Puducherrry
and has offered to give Helmets free to all participants.
