The "intelligence community" did everything in its power to keep me
from manufacturing and selling a nonlinear junction detector. Shown
on the above link is the 4059 that operated in the 250 MHz to 410 MHz
range. It looked for rhe sum or difference of those two frequencies.
I built several different models... the 4049U, the 4059H, the 4059V
and others in the 4059 series. Eventually I brought into the US a
British NLJD manufactured by CSD (they went belly up) named the
DIVINER (FCC ID# IJCDIVINER). It had excellent sensitivity and worked
very well. As with all of my units, I was totally unsuccessful with
attempts to market the product.
