TSAS Spring Concert: Sunday, May 19, 5:00 at the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame

Student Announcements:

1) All sophomores going on the Great Gatsby field trip today need to be dismissed from class and meet the bus in front of the school at 9:45. We will leave shortly after, and we will not wait for you!

2) The annual TSAS Art Show opens this Thursday! Join us from 4:00-6:00 pm for an afternoon of art and music by the jazz combo before you head down to Mayfest. We will be at the Alexandre Hogue Gallery (5th & College), Phillips Hall, at The University of Tulsa. This only happens once a year, so don't miss out!

3) The TSAS Spring Concert is this Sunday, May 19 at the Jazz Hall of Fame. The concert starts at 5:00 with a professional combo and the TSAS Jazz Ensembles will start playing after intermission, around 5:45. Hope to see you there!

4) Garden Club will meet today after school in the vegetable garden to plant vegetables! All are welcome to attend.

5) Game Club will NOT meet this Thursday after school in order to facilitate clean up and removal of Potluck food from the building.

6) Asher's advisory will meet at noon today in Room 5. This is an essential meeting as we will be finalizing plans for the advisory games!

7) Field Day will be next Thursday the 23, NOT Friday the 24th. Sorry for the confusion. Stay tuned for more specific details.

8) OYO, TSAS's knitting and crochet club, will meet today after school.

9) Student-sponsored Bible Study will meet tomorrow at 8 am in Mrs. Hahn's room (#29).

10) OML will meet during lunch on Friday in Mrs. Hughes's room.

11) Yearbooks are on sale in the office. Cost is $45, cash or check. Hurry to reserve yours for next week's Field Day!

12) The TSAS Orchestra will be performing in the evening on May 23rd at Top That Pizza (Tulsa Hills location) to raise money for the PTSA. Please come out to enjoy dinner and fine music with your family!

13) Today's lunch offerings include BBQ chicken or ham and Swiss sandwich. Tomorrow we have the potluck so regular lunch will NOT be served. Remember to bring your goodies for the potluck!

14) Key Club will be having a swim suit drive for the Laura Dester Shelter. We would love new or gently used swim suits. There will be a box in the front hall way.

15) Key club will meet tomorrow during lunch in Madame Doss's room.

16) There will be a TSAS Community Picnic on June 15th from 11 AM to 4 PM at Central Park (6th and Peoria). Students, Teachers, and TSAS families are all welcome. More details to follow soon!

17) Tickets for Beauty and the Beast are now on sale in the fishbowl/office! Don't wait to stand in line at the oh-so-small theatre lobby when you can buy them in advance here. Shows are this Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon at the Tulsa Little Theatre, 1511 S. Delaware. Tickets are $10.00 for students and seniors, 65 & over and under 3 are free. All others are $12.00. Hope to see you there!

18) Seniors: Please come to Ellen's room today at noon for a short meeting!
