Thank you to everyone who came and enjoyed the good food and great music at Cosi's Friday night. It was so much fun to see so many of the TSAS community. Special thanks to Mr. Doss and the Jazz Combo -- the music was great! The winners of the "cuts in the lunch line" cards are John Dale and Rachael Luther. (Please see Mrs. Geibel for those cards.) Hopefully, we'll have another opportunity to raise money for TSAS at Cosi's in the future.
1. The next SAT test is on March 13. The deadline to register is Feb. 10. Our school code is 373-647.
2. Mrs. Waller would like to begin collecting a $13.00 deposit for AP tests. The total cost of the test is $86. If your family qualifies for free or reduced lunch, the fee is $56. The AP tests are given the first two weeks in May. The deadline for ordering a test is March 23. If you have a problem finding funding for the test, please talk to your AP teacher or Mrs. Waller ASAP.
3. If you are interested in a scholarship to OSU's Information Systems Technology Exploration (ISyTE) Academy for High School Students (June 6 - 11, 2010), apply online at cepd.okstate.edu/isyte or ask Mrs. Waller for a paper copy. Deadline - March 12, 2010.
4. Yearbooks are on sale for $45 through March 12. After March 12 the price will go up. Order forms are in the Fishbowl.
5. Come join Key Club in reading to residents of the Parks Edge Nursing Home on Tuesday Feb 9th. We will meet in Madame Doss's room after school and walk next door together. We will be done by 4:00. All are welcome!
