1) Attention TSASians! We are, honest-to-gosh, starting a new session of rock climbing next Wednesday. If you have ever thought of climbing, now is your chance! We climb on Wednesdays after school at New Heights Climbing Gym. The first week is instruction on how to climb safely and after that you are free to climb or boulder to your heart's content. We are meeting today at lunch, in room 101. If you are planning on climbing, you must come to the meeting. We need to pass out permission forms and talk about rides. Again, meeting today at lunch in room 101!
2) Don't forget there is peer-mediated chemistry tutoring today after school and also tomorrow morning. If you could use a little one-on-one help, now's the time, room 207 is the place. Math tutoring is also available today after school and tomorrow morning from 8:30-8:55.
3) Philosophy Club will meet tomorrow after school in room 208. This week's topic: Modern piracy, the world of intellectual property.
4) Reminder to all students wanting to be a part of the Ex Cineribus staff, the applications and typed essays are due this Friday.
5) Yearbooks are now on sale! They are $45 each. Purchases can be made until May 4th, 2012. Forms are available in the fishbowl.
Seniors:
6) Tomorrow, January 26, five specialists will come together in one place to guide families through the process of maximizing aid for new and prospective students in an event titled Paying for College 101. The event is scheduled for 7 p.m. in Station 82 inside the Student Center on the campus of the University of Science and Arts in Chickasha. This event is free, open to the public and requires no RSVP.
