As we discussed, four years back CarDekho had launched its Auctions business in a big way and had created a new entity called cardekhoauctions.com for conducting auctions for Insurance accidental vehicles.
We have a pool of 10000 plus verified buyers (Pan India) with their security deposit and KYC details with us so you can get the best value for the auctioned vehicles through our competitive and transparent auction process on the regional and national levels.
We auction all kinds of vehicles: Two Wheelers, Three Wheelers, Four-wheelers, Commercial Vehicles, Construction Equipments, Farm Equipments, etc.
We help you dispose of all kind of total loss vehicles: Total Loss, Net of Salvage, Without RC, With RC, Superdari, Theft Recovered, Motor fire, Water Loss, Flood Loss, only salvage (trolly, horse, Cabinet, etc.)
We are already the market leader in terms of auction business of Insurance accidental vehicles and are currently working with more than 15 insurance companies (Private & PSUs combined).
Please find below the key points involved in our Auctions Process :
A) The insurance company or Surveyor to share the major loss vehicle details as per CarDekho Auction ( Photos, RC Details, and Parking location)
B) For the next 3-4 days, CarDekho Auctions shall do extensive and rigorous market-making in order to maximize competition. CarDekho Auctions shall put in the effort to ensure that buyer go and physically inspect the vehicle
C) CarDekho Auctions shall share the results of the Auction within 4 working days from the date of intimation
D) The insurance company or Surveyor shall try his level best to approve the quote within 30 working days (extendable on request) from the date of receiving Quote.
E) Once approved, CarDekho Auctions shall ensure that the complete process of payment, vehicle handover, and document handover will be managed by them with minimal support required from Insurance company or Surveyor
F) We do not charge any fee from the Insurance company or surveyor for this service and shall charge only the buyer for this.
G) CarDekho Auctions shall charge approximately 2-3% of the approved value from the buyer as a transaction fee and shall clearly and explicitly mention this amount on the portal during the course of the auction.
H) CarDekho will provide complete transparency in the online auctions process and will also provide an escalation matrix for the region to the surveyor & Insurance company to resolve issues if any.
I) CarDekho shall provide monthly review reports to the surveyor based on vehicle intimations, TAT for quotes sent, TAT's on approvals, TAT on vehicle lifting and fulfillment for each case.
