Dear All,

I have created an account 'Radiology Revenue' of kind 'Revenue' and attached to a 'Product'. After posting some customer invoices, I opened the chart of account and found following values for this 'Radiology Revenue' account.

Debit: 0.0
Credit 3200
Balance: -3200

It seems as if the balance is calculated by 'Sum(Debit) - Sum(Credit)'. Shouldn't it be calculated by 'Sum(credit) - Sum(debit)'?

I have checked that the 'Type' of the account is set to an account type whose display balance is set to 'credit - debit'!

However, the values in the Income Statement report are positive.

This is a convention.

The income statement is based on the type which has a configuration
about how the balance is computed.
