Invoicing project from timesheet

Hello. 

In the Project menu Im creating a Work Effort with the following specifications: 

- Type - Project

- Product is assigned 

- Available in Timesheets - true

- Invoice method - On Timesheet

Then I track time in the timesheet, where Work in Timesheet line equals to the Work Effort. After this I press Invoice in the Work Effort menu and draft of Invoice with the time tracked in the timesheet is created. Invoice is validated and posted. 

However, in the Invoiced Progress Tab of the Work Effort these invoices are not shown. What can be the reason for that?

The invoice method is "On Timesheet" and not "On progress".

The invoice method is "On Timesheet" and not "On progress".

Do you mean that invoice method "On Timesheet" should be selected in the Work Efforts?  This invoice method was selected initially (please see my first post to this thread), but invoice is still not shown in the Invoiced Progress tab on Work Effort.

It means that the Invoiced Progress Tab is only filled when the invoice
method is "On progress".

Project has Invoice Method "On Progress', time is tracked in the timesheet against this project. However Invoice button in the "General" tab of Project (work effort) is not active. 

Am I missing the process flow here?

If you are invoicing on progress, you have to enter how progress have
you done on the task using the progress field. Once the current progress
is higher than the invoiced progress the invoice button will be available.

Thank you for explaining this business logics. Everything in project invoicing works as discussed here.
